What are XLPE LV Cables?
XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) LT Cables are low voltage cables designed for distribution of electrical energy at rated voltages up to 1100 volts. These cables consist of high-conductivity aluminium conductors insulated with cross-linked polyethylene, offering superior electrical, thermal, and mechanical performance compared to conventional PVC insulated cables.
The cross-linking process transforms polyethylene into a thermoset material with excellent resistance to heat, moisture, chemicals, and electrical stress.
